| During their first week in China six researchers involved in the expedition participated in the "Sino - Italian Workshop on Karst and Caves of Guizhou". This was an occasion not only for considering in more detail the studies on karsism in Guizhou and for further promoting the technical and scientific collaboration between the Italian and Chinese, but also for updating the data and for explaining the future research plans. There was a large participation of presenters from diverse fields of specialisation, which lead to a broad and successful comparison of results. |
